The Iranian Government Prohibited Entrance of The Greek Into Its Satrapi, Egypt.
In spring of 454 BC, by issuing an order, the Iranian governor of Egypt prohibited the entrance of Greek inhabitants into Egypt. Based on the calculation of chronologists, this order, which was written in 3 languages and 3 scripts, was issued on 4 May of that year. The reason for issuing this order was that the Greek were continuously instigating the Egyptians against Iran. The Greek had also once before instigated the Egyptians to rebel against the government of Iran, which rebel was suppressed and the Greek inciters, whose ships were confiscated by the Iranian Satrap of Egypt, were deported. In the ancient times, Egypt was an Iranian Satrapi (province) for 121 years.
